A collaborative patient and staff focused arts commission in a busy hospital X-ray department at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. Outer space was the theme chosen by the children and staff. The brief  was to create a child friendly environment and aid way finding in the main corridors and the Ultrasound Department.  Designs had to be incorporated with the wider arts project taking place throughout the unit and included 9 x camera room double door designs, camera room signage along the main corridor, illustrated floor to ceiling wall wrap with integrated space sounds and 2 x bespoke light boxes in  the Ultrasound department waiting area and treatment rooms, 1 x wall feature artwork at main reception, ‘space fact’ designs reverse printed on 30mm clear acrylic.
